I really enjoyed reading this book. I am still trying to figure out why the author felt it was necessary to have Boggs abuse Zoe and then break em up so to speak. I can understand why Zoe felt the way she did with what Boggs did to her, but to have Gus and Zoe betray Boggs and Em by sleeping together? That wasnt right.I am liking the direction about the runner zombies and how Zoe can read there mind or sense them most of the time. It gives this book a twist from normal zombies that just eat brains. The roamers are the slow normal ones who are led by the runners.
Overall, I highly recommend this book as well as all the others in this series. If you are a zombie fan or fanatic, I think you will really like this. It has some romance, a little violence, and some passionate scenes.

This series has everything I look for and then some! Suspense, complete joy, utter painful heartache, fear, loathing, hate, love and amazing sex. I couldn't put these books down. There were times when I needed to feel a connection to my husband because the feelings from reading were so raw. I highly recommend!
Good good good.. I was wondering when an author of all this goor was going to add SEX to the story. About time with all this death that human nature was bound to be somewhere. Can't wait to order the next book. Very good all the way to the end. Thanks enjoyed.
Really like this series and so far this book 2 had my heart beating fast many times. A different kind of zombie book and I love it. So nice to have a story and not just gore. Just got book 3 and can't wait to start reading. Book one is also good. I like the characters and dreading that some may die.
I don't even know where to start. WOW!! Book 2 is amazing and IMO by far better than the first (which I loved). The characters pull you in and you become so invested in them. There were tears of sorrow and joy and the pace was NON STOP. This series is going to rock. The action DOES. NOT. STOP. This is one author to keep your eye on!!
I am loving this story. I think the writer does a great job at making the characters be human. All of them make mistakes as no one has lived this life before. I am dying to find out what exactly is going on with Zoe's pregnancy. It certainly doesn't seem normal. Also looking to find out what's going on with the island monsters. Looking forward to book 3!
I was actually a little conflicted with this book. Which is not to say that I didn't love every minute of it, because I did. Much like its predecessor, Tainted Grace was filled with action, romance, and characters that have come to feel like family to me. My confliction comes from a major plot twist that happened about seventy-percent into the book. I don't want to give anything away, which means I basically can't talk about it at all, but I will say that I was half-and-half on what happened. A part of me was pretty pissed, I'm not going to lie. But then this whole other side of me started rooting for it to keep happening. I never saw it coming, but once it was there, I kind of liked it. And as you're reading this, if you haven't already read Tainted Grace, you're probably pretty confused. Sorry for that.
Anyways, back to things I am allowed to talk about...I loved Gus! This is not surprising, as he's been my favorite character since he stepped foot into Grace Lost, but in this second edition, my love for him grew almost to that of worship. He's amazing. I love the way he holds everyone together. I get butterflies in my stomach every time he says darlin'. The other characters were all great as well, but in my opinion, Gus is the true hero of this series. I also enjoyed the addition of new characters. Nathan was awesome. I loved how well he fit into the group. Plus, Susan totally needed to get laid, proven by how much nicer she was after Nathan came around. And the gore! Oh, man, it was so gross at times! The descriptions were so detailed that I found myself wanting to gag a few times...it was awesome! Word of warning, Tainted Grace was even more adult than the last book, with a few detailed sex scenes throughout. In fact, the book opens with a pretty saucy one.
All and all, I am in love with this series and anxiously awaiting the next.
I am always weary when it come to the second book in a series because most are disappointing. It take a good writer to continue to keep the reader's attention especially when the first book is very good. I have to admit, I'm extremely hard to please, probably because I have read so many. This author pleasantly surprised me because this book is actually better than the first. I also have to admit I'm greatly curious as to how this story is going to play out. It is probably the most unique zombie book I've read yet and that says a lot in and of itself. Around every corner you will find a new twist to the story. I find this author's imaginations intriguing.
